Samuel Baidoo grew up in Antwerp where he studied visual arts in secundary school. After his graduation he co-founded the Hanafubuki collective where he mainly takes the role as, choreographer and theatermaker. In the past Hanafubuki made both exhibitions involving, photography or visual arts as well as performances using dance, text or poetry and a strong visual esthetic as it's main components.
After secundary school he studied illustration and graphic design. Currently Samuel is studying dance at the Royal Conservatory in Antwerp. Within this education he got the chance to work with Maud Le Pladec and Guy Cassiers on the piece 'Grensgeval’. He performed in Unblocked and Insight by Agostina D'Allesandro. With Iris Bouche he worked on VENN a recomposition of pieces by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and performed in 'Breken' a dance piece by Gregory Caers and Yves Tuwis.
